Institute’s Additional Holidays for Students

  • Chinese New Year
    There will be no lectures on Wednesday, 28th January ’09. Students are requested to view their course schedule for actual holiday/semester break dates during the Chinese New Year Holidays.  
  • Hari Raya Puasa
    There will be no lectures on Wednesday 23rd September ’09.
    Students are requested to view their course schedule for actual holiday/semester break dates during the Hari Raya.
  • Deepavali
    There will be no lectures on Friday 16th October ’09.
  • Year End Break
    There will be no lectures from Monday, 21st December ’09 to Friday, 1st January ‘10.

    Note:

  1. When a public holiday falls on a Sunday, the following day becomes a public holiday.
  2. The administrative and student services functions will be operational during the additional holidays for students except for the Sunday, public holiday and certain approved days as indicated. During the period of additional holidays the operational hours for the library, computer labs and administration service counters will be as from 9.00am to 5.00pm (Monday to Friday).
